In the days leading up to Mother's Day, we have lots of great activities to keep the kids engaged while turning their minds to giving gratitude to mum. Choose from a range of activities that use materials and items you would typically find around your home.
Supplies: Paper towel, watercolours, straws, medicine droppers, ice cube tray, scissors and tape
Prep: Pour your choice of watercolours in an ice cube tray, diluting with water, then cut half pieces of paper towel
Create: Fill medicine droppers from tray paint and fully cover the paper towel pieces, then let dry completely
Assemble: Cut paper towels into two long strips, crumple and then pat them back flat before folding the long edge and taping it to a a straw, and finally rolling it to form the flower, taping down the end.
