We are all living in a time that can make us feel like we are not ourselves. This yoga pose can be helpful to ground your and your children to try when things are feeling topsy-turvy and out of our control.
Chair Pose
What you need to do:
- While standing up, ask your child to bend their knees and push their hips back like they are sitting into an uncomfortable chair.
- Lifting and reaching their arms overhead, ask them to keep reaching up and sitting back.
- See if they can hold this position for 30 seconds.
- Relax and if they are able, repeat a couple of times.
