Canada Day Pretzel Sparklers

  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped white chocolate or chocolate melting wafers
  • 12 Pretzels rods
  • 29 g of cherry popping candy (or red sprinkles if you can't find popping candy)

How to make Canada Day Pretzel Sparklers:

  1. Melt chocolate in either double boiler or microwave (with 30 second intervals in microwave to avoid burning).
  2. Pour into a tall glass to make dipping rods.
  3. Dip one pretzel in the white chocolate and allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  4. Sprinkle cherry popping candy (or sprinkles) while chocolate is still wet.
  5. Set onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Continue until all pretzels are done.
  6. When needed, tip the glass to ensure that pretzels are covered in chocolate.
  7. Allow pretzels to set in fridge for 30 minutes before serving.
