A great game for a day indoors. This is a variation on your typical scavenger hunt.
Give your children a print out of the different shapes you would like to them find around the house. You can challenge them by providing a tracking sheet of how many of each shape they should be looking for.
Once all of the items are collected you can turn this into an arts and craft project by having them trace out the different shapes and colour them in.
For older children they can colour in their shapes and create characters and their additional activity could be to write a story about their shape creations.
This activity allows for creativity and imagination.
