Pumpkins are not just for carving (roasting and eating pumpkin seeds is a bonus treat). Here is a great way to let your children's creativity and artistry come to life with pumpkins.
How to assemble:
- Step 1: Make sure your pumpkin is washed and dry removing any dirt. Depending on how many colours you are painting your pumpkin, using the natural lines on the pumpkin, section it off for painting.
- Step 2: Using the coloured paints, go around the pumpkin once, then go around it again to get two solid coats. Let dry thoroughly. The bottom of the pumpkin won't show, so it is optional to turn it over and finish off the bottom.
- Step 3: Once dry, use the colour coordinated stickers and place them on the coloured sections of your pumpkin. If they are not self adhesive, you can use the hot glue gun and glue them to the pumpkin. (adults supervision required).
Once dry and completed, you can use your rainbow rhinestone pumpkin as a centre piece for your holiday celebrations or on your porch as a festive decoration.
