Lawn Twister

  • Thumb tack
  • paper clip
  • piece of cardboard
  • markers
  • environmentally friendly paints

This activity can be done with environmentally friendly paints or coloured construction paper.

  1. The kids should paint circles on the grass (or cut our circles with construction paper), in any order or pattern and colour that they want.
  2. After, on a piece of cardboard, the kids should re-create the twister board pinwheel that says "left hand green..." "right hand blue...". To make the needle part, take a thumb-tack and place it through a paperclip and then into cardboard.
  3. Spin and play the game accordingly.

This activity is brought to you by Camp Northland, an overnight camp based in Haliburton, Ontario with a 100+ year tradition of creating memorable summer experiences for children and teenagers from Southern Ontario.
